Mission/How we are involved with horses:
Horse SenseAbility, located in Sherborn MA, is a nonprofit PATH center dedicated to helping children and young adults who are underserved, at risk or have special needs develop life skills by learning about, caring for and being with horses in a peaceful, rural setting.

We particularly focus on working with young people who are or have been in the foster care system; have experienced trauma from emotional, physical or sexual abuse; struggle with mental illness; have autism spectrum disorder; are living in low-income, often stressful, situations; or have physical or cognitive disabilities.

We also prioritize making riding and working with horses accessible to children from low-income families who otherwise couldn't afford this opportunity.

The organization conducts Equine Assisted Services (EAS) in accordance with the EQUUS Foundation Guidelines on Qualifications of Organizations Conducting Equine-Assisted Services (EAS)).

The organization provides outreach and/or public education programs involving horses.

100% of our total programs and services are equine-related.
