Seeking Miniature for unmounted programs & Pony for beginner riders
MAKE AN INQUIRY
We are looking for a miniature to use in our Read With Ponies program and Daytop program as well as a beginner lesson horse. We need an easy temperament and easily handled.
We are seeking a Miniature Horse that meets the following criteria:
Age Range:
Aged Under 6 Aged 6-9 Aged 10-14
Gender:
Geldings
Size Preference:
Small Pony (under 12.2h)
Activities that the equine will be expected to perform:
English Walk/Trot
Unmounted activities including handling when at liberty in a round pen or arena
Current/former experience/training which could make the equine suitable for your program:
English Pleasure
Hunter Seat Equitation
Trail Riding
The organization has the following policies about horses who are sound and healthy but have the following chronic conditions that require medication:
Lyme Disease: Accept subject to severity of condition
Cushing's Disease: Not Accept
Thyroid Disease: Not Accept
Navicular Disease: Not Accept
Inflammation: Not Accept

The organization provides outreach and/or public education programs involving horses. 100% of our total programs and services are equine-related.
The organization conducts its horse-related programs at one facility.
